Comment: Killing other animals for human consumption is unnecessary and shows the inconsiderate lustfulness of man. Unnecessary because fruit, vegetables and seeds are more nutritious and healthy. In the book of Genesis 1:28 God said,'See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.'I have not eaten the flesh of any living creature for more than thirty five years and consider that my good health and fitness is due to this.  Tony Brindley.

Comment: The unnessary killing of defenceless animals purely for our taste benefit has to stop!  We humans can have a perfectly healthy, well balanced diet from the food of the lands without the need to kill animals! The website is very informative and raises the issue of the needless killing of living creatures.

Comment: I have always thought that the killing of innocent animals was wrong but like many others played ignorant to it. Having read your website which is extremely informative I have now come to realise that maybe it is time to change my way of life and I will definitely be making steps to do just that even if it is just cutting out meat.

Comment: i am a full meat eater myself and this will never change, i agree with a lot of what you say yet some points i cant except.from the start of man kind right to this day we have always been meat eaters, if we were not meant to eat the cow then god wouldn't have given the idea to the first man. everything we do has already been wrote, god know's who we are and has our live's perfectly planned so if i was supposed to be a vegetarian hr would tell me.the killing of animals is a lot quicker and painless now, plus they are given a good life to start with.i care about the planet and agree with all information towards saving our planet but i can not see how god wants me to stop eating the meat he feeds me.

Comment: with respectful regards to kerri jones, god hasnt given us his innocent animals to slaughter for our taste benefit, the killing of these poor animals has to stop, we as humans need to sacrifice our love of dead carcases, and reap the benefits of the food that god has supplied us with from our earth. Keep up the good work Mr Powell

Comment: I do take note of what you say and always believe we should question
everything (make sure of all things) after all that's why God gave us a brain and free will.
I wouldn't really want to get involved in any particular movement myself, I find them all a bit of a turn off, no matter what the belief behind it, however I don't look down or judge others that do.  I do believe your point that in paradise that we won't slaughter such beauty and wonder when we don't really need to, and our bodies were never designed to digest.

Comment: Philosophy and ethics of vegetarianism I'm fine with and I'm a lifelong animal rescuer. My problem is finding what I can eat. Switched to soy milk from milk, never ate much meat anyway, but I don't particularly like vegetables, and I don't cook. I cut out sugar by switching to honey, but now with ColonyCollapse Disorder and the emerging evidence of how the bees are treated by their "keepers" I feel I have to give honey up now, too. If they made "People Chow" like they do for dogs, I'd eat that.

Comment: Hitler was a vegetarian, so much for ethics being related to food consumption. Truth is humans are designed for an omnivorous diet, our digestive system being inefficient compared to those animals that only eat either a vegetarian or carnivorous diet. Personally I don't care for land meat, but on occasion will eat fish.

"Our task must be to free ourselves . . . by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty." "Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances of survival for life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet."
Albert Einstein, physicist, Nobel Prize 1921
