Is it Wong to Keep Birds in Cages?
This is fast becoming a significant dilemma, so we might ask....
1)Are caged bird's stressed?
2) Do they long to escape?
3) Would they fly away if allowed?
4) Is it right to bring these birds to birth for an individuals personal possession? These are all valid questions that anyone who is considering getting a caged bird should ask themselves before they actually purchase one. This will be considered in detail over the next few months.

In the meantime our position is this, we believe that we are at a point in our evolution where we should consider it a moral duty to turn our attention to the plight of millions of helpless Parakeets, Budgies, Canaries, Minor Bids and Parrots that are bred and sold each year for a cgaed life. We think that it is neither right nor humane to restrict such birds to a flightless captive existence, when their natural love and desire is to soar in the skies, nest in the trees, and eat natural food.

We are well aware that people have kept birds in cages for thousands of years but we feel that the time is right to make it illegal to breed such magnificent creatures for a soul destroying caged life. Of course we certainly don't advocate releasing captive birds from their cages into the wild but we feel that everyone should have at least enough consideration to grant them as much room as possible for the duration of the birds natural life, and desist from breeding any more for this cruel market.
