The internet and BBC websites offer a great deal of information that extolling the benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle, and so much information is around now that it now finally seems the government is waking up to the benefits of a diet that centres on non animal derived foods.

So!

Does the vegetarin lifestyle promote better health and longevity? 

Is it correct that Heart diseases can not only be halted but actually be reversed?.

Is it true that High Cholesterol levels can be brought down significantly by a strict vegetarian diet?.

Why have red meats been implicated in causing damage to human DNA?

Why are the government urging people to eat more veg and less meat and dairy products?

The vegetarian diet is not new it was the brainchild of the ancient philosophers 600bc.

No one can stave off forever the inevitability of death, but medical research has shown how a vegetarian diet can help bestow many health benefits, improving our chances for survival, however this is nothing new, for over two thousand years the clear health benefits of avoiding meat have been recognized, so it is a very worthwhile subject to examine..


 

 Have you ever noticed that we are advised to include at least 5 portions of Fruit and Vegetables in our diets each day.  How often though are we advised by medical authorities to increase the volume of meat, I wonder?
