Horses in Battle The horse have been used for thousands of years to carry soldiers and knights into battle. Mankind harnessed and used to play major part in warfare for thousands of years. No other animal has contributed so much. However all too often the main target for bowman was not the rider but the horse itself. Thousands of these magnificent creatures lay slain on battlefields following human warfare against other people. Horses have never been willing servants to human to kind and its wars, any help has been obtained by breaking the horses spirit and harnessing its power.
In Agriculture

In the Mines
Pit ponies generally had a very miserable life, though they were often very well fed and were cared for by those who were in charge. If any pit foremen didn’t treat their ponies well it would mean that the miners themselves would have to haul out the coal by hand, which wasn’t an option that any boy or mine hand would relish. Often ponies never came up to the surface in their life, due to the colossal task of actually getting these animals to the surface in the early days. To do so would often call for them to be physically hauled to the surface. No doubt many miners felt a great affection for these ponies, but the miner’s life was far more enjoyable than that of the pony, as they got to return home to their families every evening; whereas the pit ponies could only dream of freedom and galloping with their pals in the fields.
Horses in Religion In revelation the four Horsemen of the apocolypse bring woes upon the earth, Jesus Christ is depicted in the same book as coming on a white horse and a long sword protrudes from his mouth to strike the nations. Horse were the great sacrifice in some cultures particularly those who depended heavily on them. and sometimes the queen had a mock scene of bestiality and connection with the horse.
